Overall game rating - 4 out of 5 stars
Global Agenda didn't seem like much at first after I downloaded it. Hey, it was a free 14-day trial and no sub required if bought it, so what the hey? Well, a whole weekend later shot to hell (literally, or virtually as the case may be) I found that I ... wanted to play MOAR!! Hell ya, bra! Tabula Rasa's influence is all over this game but without the issues. It's just a plain old-fashioned, and (dare I say it?) addictive shoot 'em up game. The point-of-view is a third person over-the-shoulder in case any of you readers want to know. The pvp instances aka scenarios aka battle grounds aka what-have-ya are just pure awesomeness. Global Agenda shows that to be skilled is actually much more important than being well-geared. Skill.does.really.matter. Gear is good, too, but a player with mediocre gear and great skylz will chop the crap out of a well-geared scrub.
Classes
The game has only four classes. What's that you ask? No, four classes in this game is all you need for the ultimate in twitch fun!
Assualt
There is the Assault class which is the traditional tank, but with massive dps. What can you say about Assault? He is a massive bruiser than can chop you in half with his plasma edged axe or mow you down with his auto-cannon.
Recon
There is the Recon class (my favorite right now methinks) that is just pure leet sauce awesomeness - a high-tek rogue ninjitsu type that will soar over you and then behind you and slice-slice-dead. Then run off and slap a timed bomb on a wall while tossing a land mine down the hall and away she goes!
Robotics
Next up is the Robotics class - an engineer to end all engineers. Set up an auto-cannon that has insane dps, run off to set up a quick medical center for healz, and then run around doing the fun stuff - shoot 'em up (what else?).
Medical
And covering all their backs finally is Medical - dispenser of deadly neurotoxins and virus bombs as well as the divine heals that we all know and love. Well, maybe not divine, but we'll settle for hi-tek. :P

Everyone Loves a Jetpack
But the one thing unique about this game that makes it stand out, indeed shine, from other similar games are the jetpacks that every class wears. You can leap tall buildings or canyons in a single bound! No, really, I'm not kidding! But the caveat to wearing them is knowing how to handle their inertia. You know, once you start moving, you'll keep moving. So if you fly up to a rooftop with very little real estate, take care you don't overshoot, or your pack will run out of power and it can't slow you down as you come to terms with your impending meeting with the ground, knowutimean? Trust me, don't underestimate the fun that the jetpacks bring to this game - it takes this shooter MMO to a whole new level of fun.
Missions
While the game has only minimal content for a pve questing zone, it really shines in its both pve and pvp missions. There are five types of missions: Special Ops (team pve), Mercenary (team pvp), Raids (team pvp), War Zone (team pvp), and Arena (team pvp). The great thing about these five is that there is no need to go into a world chat and shout,"lfm healz and dps plox" or any of that. You just click "Join" and you're put in a queue. Most of the time you'll have no more than 15 minutes to wait, tops. From the level that I have raised my characters, I can only get into the Special Ops and Mercenary instances. The other three require the player to be at least level 30. For the fastest possible leveling, do the missions in the Special Ops. The questing zone is painfully slow as leveling up method and you get no xp from killing mobs, only from quests completed. Trust me, you're much better off doing the Special Ops missions which you can do from level 5 on up or the Mercenary ones from level 10 on up.
What else you ask?
The level cap is 50, by the way. Yes, there is crafting, but it's a pretty simple affair, at least from what I've seen so far. There are a few different maps for each of the five types of missions, so it shouldn't get too monotonous for a long time. The movements of the various toons and the response time of the abilities are great, no sluggishness there. Everything about this game is twitchy and fast. The death penalty is practically non-existent. There is only one quick slot bar, but you will never use it with your mouse. There are only 10 buttons (0 - 9) to press to access you various gear - it's the left mouse button that actually shoots the gun, swings the mace or axe, lays down the mine, etc. The right mouse button activates secondary abilities of certain types of gear such as the scope for a rifle. Think shooter game marries traditional MMO and you will come up with something akin to Global Agenda.
And believe it or not, there is actually a pretty well developed backstory to the game for all you gamers out there that demand every game have one. I've read through about half of it and was surprised that it was actually fun to to read. You sci-fi fans should love it.
All in all, if you like shooter type games with a lot of great twitchy action, you'll love this game. If, on the other hand, you are a traditional rpg type of gamer that demands an insane amount of content and depth, stay away from this one. I'm both sorts of players to a degree, so I found this game to be a really fun lessqqmoarpewpew shooter.
Yo! I second that Recon motion. Love this game. Only thing better is playin TF2 as, well, me!
