Version 3.2 of World of Warcraft, also known as "Call of the Crusade" is now on live servers. In addition, a trailer for the new patch has been released.
The trailer features gameplay footage of the new dungeon known as the "Argent Tournament" as well as footage of the new "Isle of Conquest" battleground.
The full patch highlights, notes, and of course the trailer, are all available at the official WoW 3.2 site here.
What I like about the new patch so far is that mount costs went down.
I have noticed people asking about the battleground exp. You can now get exp from battle grounds, but it's not for honorable kills; it's for achieving objectives.
You can also turn exp gains off. This is an awesome feature for twinks. It costs 10g to turn off exp gains and 10g to turn them back on again, You go to a guy by the battle masters in stormwind, or some horde town...
The new dungeon loot feature is the berries. How many times has someone in your group accidentally rolled need, or greeded when you were going to have it disenchanted? Now you have two hours to trade a soulbound drop from a dungeon. This is as it should be, as are most of wow's upgrades to current features. (I love how when wow "fixes" something, they don't make it worse, kudos)
They added new pets. 8 of them!!
And then some engineering things they did are cool. They made it so that we don't have to wear our "tricksy" gears like the mote detector and the teleporters; just having them in our inventory is good enuff. Awesome!
Nice patch, and I didn't have to reset my talent points (dks and huntards did tho)
