Zero Punctuation Demon's Souls Review

A couple of my friends have just discovered the hell that is demon's souls (along with the rest of Europe and US), and from what they tell me, this is pretty damn accurate.

He's absolutely 100% correct in this review. There's challenging, and then there's just tedious. Ninja Gaiden for Xbox was challenging, without so severely punishing you for all the deaths you endure, mainly because the game designers KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO DIE NUMEROUS TIMES. DS has no respect for the gamer's time. I played the game for about ten hours and beat about three bosses, but I just basically stopped caring after that. There was simply nothing there to keep me playing anymore. I didn't care what the next boss was. I didn't care about the story or any of its characters. I didn't care about the supposed feeling of accomplishment I was supposed to get from clearing an area. I'm glad I was able to find this out within a few days so I could return it for a full refund. I'll give the game designers credit for that... if you're not going to enjoy this game, you'll find that out very quickly.
