Many people think as console gaming as the main source of gaming but actually its just one of the many ways to play games. Half life and counter strike are all very good examples of pc to console ports but one of the many not so well known way of porting games for pc to console is via xbox live marketplace, wii ware or the playstation network.
I'm a huge Cave Story fan for the pc and I was not dissappoined with the port to the Wii. It is the same story-line but with new graphics from the 8 bit style and they re-worked the music which was an awesome upgrade. The main reason I bought this was because of the extra modes . In the extra modes you can play as curly brace who is a compainion of the main character. The second mode is called 'challenge mode.' In this mode you have to run through the secret "hell" dungeon and complete it in a certain amount of time.
The pc version is basically the same game as the Wii, exept there are NO extra modes, NO redone graphics and the music is still the old style. After playing both I think that the PC version still beats the Wii because it was 100% FREE!
